Actors Hudson Williams and François Arnaud of the Crave series Heated Rivalry have publicly denounced hateful and bigoted comments directed at them and their co-stars by some fans.
Both Williams and Arnaud posted an identical statement to their Instagram accounts on Monday, March 9, 2026, condemning racist, homophobic, biphobic, misogynistic, ageist, ableist, parasocial, and generally bigoted comments. The statement read, “Don’t call yourself a fan if you share racist/ homophobic/ biphobic/ misogynistic/ ageist/ ableist/ parasocial/ bigoted comments of any kind. None of us need your hateful ‘love.’”

Several members of the Heated Rivalry cast reposted the message to their own Instagram Stories, including Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Robbie G.K., Sophie Nelisse, Harrison Browne, and Christina Chang. Browne, who is transgender, added a condemnation of transphobic comments specifically.
Rachel Reid, the author of the book series on which the show is based, and Jacob Tierney, the show’s director, also shared the statement.
