‘Heated Rivalry’ Cottage Now Available to Rent on Airbnb

Fans of the hit HBO series Heated Rivalry will soon have the opportunity to stay at the iconic cottage featured in the show’s season finale. Barlochan Cottage, located in Torrance, Ontario, Canada, will be available for booking on Airbnb starting March 3, 2026.

A Location Steeped in Romance and Rivalry

The three-bedroom cottage served as the backdrop for pivotal scenes between hockey stars Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) in the show, which is based on Rachel Reid’s “Game Changers” book series [1]. The secluded location on Walker’s Point on the west shore of Lake Muskoka played a significant role in the unfolding of their complex relationship.

What to Expect at Barlochan Cottage

Built in 2020 by Canadian architect Trevor McIvor, the cottage boasts three bedrooms, each with a king-size bed [1]. Guests can enjoy a central living area with a wall-mounted TV and expansive windows overlooking the lake. The property features almost 400 feet of private waterfront, a Muskoka room, a rec room with theatre seating, and an outdoor fire pit [4]. Kayaks and canoes are also available for guest use, with boating access to Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau, and Lake Joseph.

Booking Details

Initially, the cottage will be available for four weekends in May: May 8-10, May 16-18, May 22-24, and May 29-31. Bookings will open on March 3, 2026, at noon ET [2]. The nightly rate is $248.10 CAD (approximately $181 USD) [1]. The cottage is part of Airbnb’s Luze Vacation Rentals program, which focuses on upscale, private getaways.

Getting There

Barlochan Cottage is located approximately 120 miles north of Toronto. It’s a 30-minute drive from Muskoka Airport, and 1.5 hours from Toronto Pearson International Airport [2].
