SoundCore Boom 2 Plus Launches With 140 Watts and Outdoor Focus
The SoundCore Boom 2 Plus portable outdoor speaker delivers 140 watts of power and IPX7 water resistance, according to details published by Heureka.cz.
BassUp technology and titanium diaphragms ensure audio clarity
SoundCore integrates its proprietary BassUp technology alongside dual bass drivers to produce heavy low frequencies without audio distortion. A real-time digital signal processor analyzes incoming audio signals to boost bass response while maintaining clarity. Titanium diaphragms inside the four drivers improve high-frequency sensitivity, ensuring crisp details even when the volume is pushed to its maximum limit.
Durability and Waterproof Design
Built explicitly for outdoor environments, the speaker carries an IPX7 waterproof rating that allows it to withstand heavy rain or complete submersion in water. The physical housing incorporates a buoyant design, meaning the hardware floats on the water’s surface rather than sinking. A strong metal grille protects the internal components from physical impacts during trips to the beach, camping sites, or swimming pools.
Battery provides 20 hours of playback and powerbank utility
The internal rechargeable battery provides up to 20 hours of continuous music playback on a single charge. Recharging the unit takes approximately three hours using a USB-C cable. Users can also utilize the speaker as an external powerbank to charge mobile phones and other electronic devices while away from traditional power outlets.
TWS and PartyCast technologies enable multi-speaker pairing
Wireless connectivity allows users to pair mobile devices directly to the hardware for streaming audio. The inclusion of TWS and PartyCast technologies enables owners to link multiple speakers together to create a synchronized multi-room setup or a wider stereo soundstage. An AUX-IN port provides a wired connection alternative, and a companion mobile application lets users adjust the equalizer settings.
