Hilary Swank Announces Third Pregnancy With Glow-Stick Family Video

Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank announced she is pregnant with her third child, sharing a creative family video on Instagram. The 52-year-old star posted footage of herself, her husband Philip Schneider, and their 3-year-old twins dancing in the dark with glow sticks taped to their bodies.

One of the dancing stick figures featured a smaller silhouette in the abdomen region to indicate the pregnancy. “A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December,” Swank wrote in the caption, adding a winking emoji, folded hands, and angels.

Page Six reported that the baby is due in December, marking the latest addition to the household.

Speaking to Parade earlier, Swank reflected on starting a family later in life after establishing her acting career. “I think for me, I feel blessed to be able to have babies, you know, this late in life, but it’s also a blessing because I had so much time to focus on my career,” she said.

Industry Reactions and Upcoming Screen Appearances

The social media announcement quickly drew congratulations from fans and fellow actors alike. According to HELLO! Magazine, high-profile figures including Viola Davis, Sharon Stone, and Mariska Hargitay left comments celebrating the news, with Stone writing that pregnancy is “the most extraordinary journey ever.”

Alongside her family announcements, Swank maintains an active acting schedule. The Hollywood Reporter noted that the two-time Academy Award winner—who won Best Actress Oscars for 1999’s Boys Don’t Cry and 2004’s Million Dollar Baby—will next appear in the fourth and final season of Showtime’s Yellowjackets, which premieres November 20.
