Hisense Launches RGB MiniLED TV Lineup Ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026™
On April 21, 2026, Hisense marked the 50-day countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026™ with the global launch of its latest display innovation: the UR9 Series RGB MiniLED TVs. As a three-time official FIFA World Cup sponsor—having partnered with FIFA in 2018, 2022, and now 2026—Hisense is leveraging the tournament to showcase its next-generation home entertainment and smart living technologies.
The centerpiece of the campaign is the UR9 Series, powered by an RGB MiniLED backlight system and the Hi-View AI Engine RGB processor. This technology enables 100% BT.2020 color coverage with exceptional accuracy and vibrancy. The TVs feature a native 180Hz refresh rate and Devialet-tuned 4.1.2 Multi-Channel audio, delivering stadium-grade sight and sound to the living room.
Hisense has similarly confirmed its role as the official and exclusive Video Assistant Referee (VAR) Review TV Provider for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In this capacity, the company has upgraded the display equipment in the FIFA World Cup Video Operation Room (VOR) with Hisense RGB MiniLED TVs. These displays provide ultra-high color gamut and precise color reproduction, enabling clear and authentic restoration of live match footage for video assistant referees.
The UR9 Series is available in 65-, 75-, 85-, and 100-inch screen sizes, with pricing ranging from $3,500 for the 65-inch model to $9,000 for the 100-inch variant. Hisense has incorporated region-optimized panels, including Anti-Reflection & Glare-Free technology for Europe and Australia, and Obsidian Panel technology for the Americas, to enhance viewing performance across different lighting environments.
Beyond televisions, Hisense is expanding its smart home ecosystem with interconnected appliances such as the PureFlat Smart Series refrigerator and the U8 air conditioner. The company is also introducing advanced laser projectors to deliver immersive at-home viewing experiences tailored for football fans.
Through this campaign, Hisense aims to elevate how fans watch, live, and connect during the FIFA World Cup 2026™, combining cutting-edge display technology with intelligent home solutions to redefine the modern entertainment experience.
