Slovakian hockey players won the opening game of the hockey tournament at the 2026 Olympics against Finland 4:1.
Juraj Slafkovský opened the scoring in the eighth minute after a great action. The Finns then equalized in the second period thanks to Tolvanen.
Dalibor Dvorský gave Slovakia another lead in the middle of the last third. Adam Ružička closed the score two minutes before the end with a goal into an empty net.
