Honor officially launched two new Android tablets, the MagicPad 4 (12.1) and the Tablet X10 Pro Max, alongside its Magic 9 smartphone series in China on Monday, September 28, 2026. The MagicPad 4 (12.1) targets the high-end market with a 165 Hz display and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, while the X10 Pro Max features a larger 13-inch screen with streamlined specifications.

Honor MagicPad 4 (12.1) Brings 165 Hz Display and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4

The Honor MagicPad 4 (12.1) features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1,872 x 3,000 pixels, a 165 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 700 nits. This model differs from the MagicPad 4 introduced in June 2026, which utilized a 12.3-inch OLED screen and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Under the hood, the new 12.1-inch variant runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, paired with either 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

For optics and power, the tablet includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs a 10,100 mAh battery supporting 66-watt fast charging. Operating on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, the device supports a dedicated PC mode, Magic stylus and Pencil 4s accessories, and Bluetooth keyboards. Connectivity is restricted to a Wi-Fi-only variant.

Honor Tablet X10 Pro Max Offers Larger 13-Inch Screen

The Honor Tablet X10 Pro Max expands screen real estate to 13 inches using an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2,500 x 1,560 pixels. The display operates at a 120 Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 700 nits. Performance relies on a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset, combined with 8 GB of RAM and a choice of 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. Photography hardware is scaled back compared to its sibling, equipping both the front and rear with 5-megapixel cameras.

Battery Capacity and Hardware Comparison

Despite differences in screen technology, refresh rates, and processing power, both devices share a large 10,100 mAh battery capacity. Charging speeds and processor tiers separate the two releases, positioning the MagicPad 4 (12.1) for performance-heavy workloads and the X10 Pro Max for media consumption on a broader display panel.
