Witness Account

A neighbor who witnessed the event told KPRC 2 News she heard three gunshots and immediately called 911. She attempted to provide first aid to the injured student, applying a tourniquet to his leg until emergency personnel arrived. “I was trying to put a tourniquet on his foot since there was a lot of blood,” the witness said. “One person put a sweater on top, and another man put a belt around his leg so he wouldn’t lose too much blood.
