Labrinth Announces New Album ‘Cosmic Opera: Act 1’ and Charity Performance

Labrinth is set to release his fourth studio album, Cosmic Opera: act 1, in January. The 12-song album is a grand, electronic-soul production featuring full orchestration with strings, brass, and choirs, all written, scored, and performed by Labrinth himself. The ambitious project evokes the scale and grandeur of a performance like the BBC Proms.

The announcement coincides with Labrinth’s upcoming performance at the 10th-anniversary concert for Choose Love,a charity organization dedicated to supporting refugees and displaced people,wich he actively supports. The concert will be held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, a fitting venue given the operatic scope of his new musical endeavor.
