Advice from experienced trotters and the organizer

Before the start, the journalist consulted with the runners in the running group, who have an apartment full of start numbers and have run “The Big Five”, which are the most prestigious marathons in the world: New York, Boston, Berlin, London and Chicago. Their clear advice is to run a lot, train so that you can keep pace for 42 kilometers, and focus on long runs and “time on feet”. They also recommend training focused with a fixed training program, preferably training with others, listening to your body, as well as remembering intervals, eating gels and training your stomach to handle energy gels and electrolyte drinks.
