How To Turn a Weekend Vibe Code Into a Cannes-Ready AI Radio Station In a Month

Code and Theory will debut an AI-powered radio station, ai.rwaves.ai, at Cannes Lions on June 22, with editorial content sourced from ADWEEK’s festival coverage, according to a company statement.

The project, developed over three weeks, leverages AI to generate content, though the process requires significant human oversight. Pete Steiner, head of Code and Theory’s Creative Labs, noted the shift from “vibe coding” to “agentic engineering” in AI-driven projects.

“We’re seeing a spectrum from vibe coding to agentic engineering,” said Steiner, highlighting the evolution of AI’s role in creative workflows.

ADWEEK confirmed its collaboration with Code and Theory, stating the partnership aims to “explore AI’s potential in real-time media production.”

Code and Theory, a creative agency with offices in New York and Tokyo, has previously worked on digital campaigns for brands like Pepsi and Microsoft.
