HPC-AI Swiss Conference 2026 to Focus on Convergence of Technologies
Locarno, Switzerland, will host the 17th annual Swiss Conference, uniting the global High Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and emerging technology communities from April 20-23, 2026. The event, co-hosted by the HPC-AI Advisory Council and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS), will explore how next-generation compute and storage technologies are reshaping science, industry, and society.
Expanding the Scope: AI, Quantum Computing, and Digital Twins
This year’s conference expands its program to deeply focus on the interconnected pillars of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and digital twins as drivers of high-performance innovation. Technical sessions, workshops, and case studies will examine the convergence of these technologies, including AI-accelerated HPC workflows, early quantum-hybrid computing models, and the application of large-scale digital twins for designing, validating, and optimizing scientific and industrial infrastructures.
Conference Format and Key Activities
The conference begins with a dedicated tutorial day, followed by three days of keynotes, invited talks, panels, and interactive activities. Attendees will gain actionable insights across a range of topics, including HPC, AI, quantum computing, digital-twin engineering, cloud architectures, and containerized workflows.
