Xiaomi 13T Pro and Poco F5 Receive HyperOS 3 Update

Xiaomi has begun rolling out the HyperOS 3 update to the Xiaomi 13T Pro and Poco F5. Users of both devices across various global regions have reported receiving the over-the-air (OTA) update in recent days.

Xiaomi 13T Pro: A Second Rollout After Initial Issues

The HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 13T Pro is based on Android 16. An initial rollout over a month ago was paused due to a critical issue causing random reboots and bootloops. Xiaomi has since resolved the bug and the re-released version includes the February 2026 security patch for improved stability. The updated firmware versions are:

Poco F5: HyperOS 3 on Android 15

The Poco F5 is also receiving the HyperOS 3 update, but it remains on Android 15. This is as the Poco F5 has already received its allotted two major Android operating system updates and is not eligible for Android 16. The firmware version for the Poco F5 is OS3.0.3.0.VMRMIXM. The update also includes the February 2026 security patch, addressing dozens of vulnerabilities.

New Features in HyperOS 3

HyperOS 3 introduces several new features and improvements, including:

• HyperIsland: A dynamic interface combining notification spotlights with device alerts.
• Enhanced Multitasking: The ability to drag down notifications to expand them into floating windows.
• Visual Overhaul: A cleaner UI design with redesigned Home screen icons and smoother animations.

Xiaomi 13T Update Status

While the Xiaomi 13T Pro is receiving the HyperOS 3 update, the standard Xiaomi 13T has not yet been included in the rollout schedule. Development of the system version for the Xiaomi 13T appears to be ongoing.
