I.O.I Announces 10th Anniversary Comeback and New Social Media Channels
I.O.I, the popular project group formed through the 2016 Mnet survival show Produce 101, is gearing up to celebrate its 10th debut anniversary with a highly anticipated comeback in May. The group has also launched new social media channels to connect with fans as they prepare for the milestone celebration.
New Social Media Presence
On March 9, 2026, I.O.I officially opened accounts on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and a dedicated fan community platform. These channels will serve as hubs for updates, behind-the-scenes content, and direct engagement with fans leading up to the anniversary.
Fan Club Name Suggestions
In addition to the new social media launch, I.O.I is inviting fans to submit suggestions for the group’s official fan club name. This interactive approach aims to involve the fanbase in the celebratory process.
Comeback Details and Member Participation
Confirmations in February 2026 revealed that nine of the eleven original I.O.I members will participate in the reunion: Jeon Somi, Kim Se Jeong, Choi Yoojung, Chungha, Kim So Hye, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Doyeon, Lim Nayoung, and Yeonjung. Kang Mina and Zhou Jie Qiong will unfortunately be unable to join due to pre-existing commitments v.daum.

Initial reports regarding the 10th-anniversary comeback surfaced in May 2025, with a media outlet reporting plans for a new song release X. Further confirmation came in February 2026 X.

While fans await the I.O.I reunion, members have continued successful careers in entertainment. Jung Chaeyeon currently stars in the drama “Family by Choice,” and Kim Se Jeong appears in “Moon River.”
