To be honest, I haven’t seen many Czech comedies lately. From my point of view, this film is mainly about love – not only romantic love, but also love for children, the mountains, and the environment from which a person comes.

At the same time, it is about mountain rescue services. Rescuers are heroes among us, and we try to pay tribute to them with the film. Every crown from the ticket sales goes to their fund.

Actually, I don’t really need pure genre movies, and what I like about this one is that it doesn’t get too caught up in them, blending them well. After all, life itself is multi-genre.

I don’t notice much change over time. whether it’s the National Theatre,A studio Rubín,where I’ve been for half a century,or film,I always take it as a space about communication,people,topic,thinking. It’s always great if a good group comes together with a good topic. This is more critically important to me than the building where we meet or the form in which we deliver the content to the audience.
