The Jacksonville Icemen, an ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild and AHL’s Iowa Wild, unveiled three new game jerseys for the upcoming season according to an official team announcement on October 10, 2024. The new uniforms introduce a redesigned look for the franchise’s home, away, and third sweater rotations at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.
Jacksonville Icemen Jersey Design and Colors
The updated uniforms feature the team’s traditional color palette of Navy Blue, Platinum Grey, White, and Blue accent shades. According to the team’s equipment release, the home white sweater and the away navy sweater incorporate sublimated patterns along the hem and sleeves, highlighting the jagged ice aesthetic associated with the mascot, Fang. The third jersey introduces a bolder platinum grey base with deep navy shoulders, establishing a distinct visual identity for select weekend matchups.
“We wanted a clean, modern look that honors our identity while giving our fans something fresh for the new season,” said Icemen President Bob Ohrablo in the team’s official release.
ECHL Uniform Standards and Equipment Partners
The jerseys are manufactured by Athletic Knit, the official jersey supplier for multiple teams across the ECHL. Each sweater is constructed from high-performance, moisture-wicking fabrics designed to withstand the physical demands of professional minor league hockey. The shoulders feature reinforced double-stitched layering to accommodate the wear and tear of on-ice play and equipment friction.
In compliance with league regulations set by the ECHL, all sweaters display the official league crest on the back hem alongside partner patches. The Minnesota Wild and Iowa Wild primary logos appear on the upper shoulders, signifying the multi-tier NHL and AHL developmental partnership.

Replica and authentic versions of the new jerseys are available through the Icemen official team store located at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena and via the team’s online merchandise portal. According to front office ticketing representatives, full customization with player names and numbers can be added to any blank sweater purchase.
The Icemen debut the new uniforms on home ice during the upcoming ECHL regular-season opening weekend. Season ticket holders received early access to purchase the new sweaters during a private team-hosted unveiling event at the arena.
