Alessandro Febbo, Longtime Pescara Football school Collaborator, Dies at 52
Alessandro Febbo, a dedicated and influential figure within the Pescara Calcio youth system, has passed away at the age of 52. The news of his death has prompted an outpouring of grief from the club and the wider football community in the Abruzzo region of Italy.
Febbo, originally from Montesilvano, devoted over a decade of his life too the Pescara football school, serving as a coordinator, coach, and event organizer. He was deeply committed to the growth of young players and fostering a passion for the sport.
Pescara calcio honored Febbo with a heartfelt tribute posted on their official social media channels. The club described him as a “gentle giant” and acknowledged the profound loss felt by all who knew him. “That day has arrived.That day that no one woudl have wanted. Our Alessandro Febbo flew into the sky. Manny of us lose a friend. We all lose a marvelous person,” the statement read. “For more than a decade linked with body and soul to the Pescara football school. To the children. To our children. To his children. All with heart and passion.”
He is survived by his partner, Giulia, his daughter, Jennifer, his mother, Maria, and his brothers, antonio and Roberto. Details regarding funeral arrangements have not yet been publicly released.
