Innocean Worldwide Dominates Asia-Pacific Creative Rankings for 2025

Seoul-based advertising agency Innocean Worldwide has achieved significant recognition in the 2025 Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings, securing the No. 1 position in Korea and ranking No. 6 overall in Asia. The rankings, released by the global advertising trade outlet Campaign Brief Asia, evaluate agencies based on awards won at major international festivals over the past two years.

Ranking Methodology

The 2025 rankings assessed a total of 2,886 individual creatives, recognizing achievements across 12 leading global and regional award shows. Standings were determined by a weighted consideration of each reveal’s prestige and award category, including prominent festivals like Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, and the Clio Awards. Campaign Brief Asia considers these rankings a credible benchmark for creative capabilities and global competitiveness within the advertising industry.

Innocean’s Performance

Innocean’s success was largely driven by the “Night Fishing” campaign created in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company. The campaign, presented as a branded film utilizing the camera of the IONIQ 5, garnered praise for its innovative approach to engaging audiences as entertainment content. The One Club recognized “Night Fishing” with multiple awards, including Best of Discipline in Branded Entertainment and Creative Effectiveness.

Beyond the overall agency rankings, key individuals within Innocean also received accolades. Jung A Kim, Innocean’s CEO and Chief Creative Officer (CCO), ranked No. 1 among Korea’s creative directors based on award performance and No. 6 in the overall Asia individual standings. Doyu Yang (Copywriter), Eun-Ha Oh (Art Director), and Nari Moon (Creative Director) jointly achieved the No. 1 position in the “Korea’s most-awarded creatives” category.

Regional Success in Indonesia

Innocean’s strong performance extended beyond Korea, with the agency also claiming the No. 1 spot in the “Indonesia Creative Rankings” for the second consecutive year. Campaign Brief Asia attributes this success to the Dulux campaign, “Yellow Canteen,” which received recognition at D&AD, winning one Yellow Pencil and two Graphite Pencils.

Industry Recognition

Innocean’s achievements have been further highlighted by its recent recognition as Agency of the Year by multiple international organizations. According to Jung A Kim, Global CEO of Innocean, these accolades demonstrate the agency’s growing influence in the global market and its commitment to driving client growth. The Chosun Ilbo reports that Innocean’s consistent performance reflects its ability to integrate local execution strengths with global network competitiveness.
