CystoSmart running on the ISC 100: Urology Al that works beside any cystoscopy tower

Intelligent Scopes Corp unveiled the ISC 100 on Oct. 18, 2026, introducing a self-contained high-performance edge computing appliance built for the urology clinic, without requiring equipment replacements or hospital IT integration.

Edge Computing Appliance Connects Beside Existing Equipment

The hardware device operates as a secondary screen that sits next to a hospital’s existing cystoscopy tower. It accepts a feed directly from the tower’s video output, processing imaging data locally on an NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform while keeping the primary display chain completely untouched. Because processing happens entirely on the appliance, patient video stays within the hospital without requiring a cloud connection.

“Every cystoscopy suite already has a tower. We did not want to ask anyone to replace it, rewire it or wait for an IT project,” Chetan Baxi, Chief Executive Officer of Intelligent Scopes, said in a statement reported by finance.yahoo.com. The device requires only two physical connections for setup: the tower’s existing video output and a power source.

Regulatory Clearances and Market Availability

The primary software running on the hardware is CystoSmart, a computer-aided detection tool built for white-light diagnostic cystoscopy. Regulatory clearance for CystoSmart is currently secured in Brazil through ANVISA and in Singapore through the HSA. The device also features dual encryption recording capabilities to capture both the original endoscopy feed and the processed view.

Commercial orders are currently open in Brazil and Singapore. Meanwhile, the company is accepting non-binding registrations of interest from urology departments across the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australia ahead of local regulatory authorizations.

Pending Regulatory Authorizations Across Global Markets

  • United States: FDA De Novo review pending.
  • Europe: CE mark authorization pending.
  • United Kingdom: UKCA certification pending.
  • Australia: TGA approval pending.

Frequently Asked Questions About the ISC 100
