Killarney‘s International Hotel has been acquired by the O’Donoghue Ring Collection, a Kerry-based hospitality group. the sale,finalized after the hotel was listed in September,marks a significant transaction in Ireland’s hotel sector.

CBRE Ireland brokered the deal for the 98-bedroom, four-star hotel located on Kenmare Place. The property garnered significant interest from both domestic and international investors.

While the initial guide price was set between €18 million and €20 million,sources indicate the final sale price exceeded €20 million. The International Hotel, established in 1906, holds a prominent position in Killarney’s tourism landscape.

The O’Donoghue Ring Collection, known for its portfolio of hotels and resorts, plans to build upon the hotel’s legacy and enhance its offerings. Details regarding future renovations or expansions have not yet been disclosed.

This acquisition reflects continued confidence in the Irish hospitality market, particularly in popular tourist destinations like Killarney.
