Apple Releases iOS 26.2 with New Features for iPhone Users

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Apple has released iOS 26.2. iPhone users in Indonesia can now install it.

To update your iPhone, open the Settings menu. Next, go to General > Software Update > click Update Now or Update Tonight.

1. Reminders

This update introduces a new option in Reminders to activate an alarm when a task is due. The alarm will display a snooze or slide to stop option while the reminder is active.

when selecting the delay option, a countdown will appear on the Lock Screen. Additional options will be available to complete the reminder or reschedule it.

2. Lock Screen

The Lock screen now features the latest Liquid Glass slider. Users can adjust the time display to their preferred settings.

With the glass option, you can use the slider to determine how transparent or opaque the display appears.

3.Liquid Glass settings

The Liquid Glass display has also been updated with a Tinted option. If selected, this reduces the transparent appearance, but it cannot be used with the Reduce Transparency and increase Contrast Accessibility settings.

4. AirDrop

iOS 26.2 adds security enhancements to AirDrop, including additional verification for use with known contacts.
