Precision Fuel & Hydration Expands IRONMAN Partnership, Securing Title Sponsorship of 70.3 World Championship
Triathlon event operator IRONMAN has deepened its collaboration with Precision Fuel & Hydration (PF&H), designating the brand as the title partner of the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship through 2028. This expansion builds upon PF&H’s existing role as the global hydration partner for all IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events, following their title partnership of the 2025 event in Marbella, Spain.
Building on a Successful Collaboration
The multi-year agreement signifies a continued commitment from both organizations to enhance athlete performance and experience within the IRONMAN series. PF&H initially served as the Official Hydration Partner for IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 races in Europe, South Africa and Oceania, a role that will now encompass all global events starting in 2026.
Electrolyte Hydration on Course
As part of the partnership, PF&H’s PH 1000 electrolyte drink will be readily available to athletes on the course during all IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 triathlons, including the 2026 IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawai’i, and the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France. The PH 1000 is formulated to deliver 1,000mg of sodium per litre, addressing the average athlete’s sodium loss of approximately 950mg per litre of sweat, as determined by PF&H’s research from thousands of sweat tests. The product is Informed Sport Certified and features a mild citrus flavour to minimize flavour fatigue, and is low-calorie, allowing athletes to separate their fuelling and hydration strategies. Carbohydrate fuelling will continue to be provided by Maurten, IRONMAN’s on-course fuelling partner.

Marbella 2025 and Beyond
The 2025 Precision Fuel & Hydration IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Marbella, Spain, is scheduled for November 8-9, with over 6,000 professional and age-group triathletes competing. Women will race on Saturday, November 8, and men on Sunday, November 9. PF&H plans to celebrate the 1980s as a formative decade for the sport through campaigns at events throughout the year.
