Monte dei Paschi di Siena in sharp decline. BancoBPM and UniCredit also performed poorly. A positive day, however, for luxury companies. Stellantis Rebound

The major Italian Stock Exchange indices and the main European financial markets they finished the day with fractional variations.

Il FTSEMib it lost 0.04% to 46,803 points, after having fluctuated between a minimum of 46,633 points and a maximum of 46,997 points. The FTSE Italia All Share it lost 0.05%. At 5.30 pm bitcoin it had almost reached 69,500 dollars (just under 58,500 euros).

At 5.25pm the price oforo had fallen to 5,035 dollars, while theargento it was back below $80.

Ferrari recorded the best performance of the day at the FTSEMib (+10.2% to 310.3 euros)after the diffusion of budget data for 2025. The Prancing Horse closed the financial year under review with revenues and profitability improving and exceeding the guidance provided by management. Based on the results obtained last year, Ferrari has provided financial estimates for 2026.

Rebound of Stellar (+3.4% to 6.35 euros). Moody’s and S&P Global have reduced the automotive group’s long-term debt rating by one notch.

Monte dei Paschi di Siena suffered a decline of 3.45% to 8.783 euros. The Sienese institute communicated i preliminary financial results of 2025 and reported that the guidelines for the reorganization of the institute will be finalized in the coming weeks.

Also bad BancoBPM (-2.01% to 12.66 euros) e UniCredit (-2.66% to 76.55 euros).

Negative closure for Mediobanca (-0.39% to 18.95 euros). The Piazzetta Cuccia institute communicated i financial results for the 2025 financial year (duration of six months), closed with a net profit on a recurring basis of 622.9 million euros. Furthermore, Mediobanca has announced that it will update the forecasts of the 25-28 Plan, in line with the review of the strategic guidelines of Monte dei Paschi di Siena.

Positive day for luxury companiesin the wake of the financial results of the French giant Kering.

Brunello Cucinelli it gained 1% to 83.14 euros, while Moncler it achieved an increase of 2.52% to 50.78 euros.

The positive trend continued STMafter the strong rise achieved in the previous session. The title gained 2.73% at 28.065 euros.
