IVF Success: Couple Welcomes First Child After 15 Years

KUANTAN, January 13 – After a 15-year journey, a Malaysian couple, Abdul Aziz Abd Halim adn Noor Hamira Mohd Sani, welcomed their son, Mikhael, born through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment. The treatment was generously sponsored by the Tunku Azizah Fertility Foundation (TAFF).

The joyous occasion was announced on the Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page, detailing the birth of the healthy baby boy weighing 2.97 kilograms last Friday. Tengku Ampuan Pahang,Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah,personally extended her congratulations and visited the mother and child at Selayang Hospital.

This birth marks a important milestone for TAFF, representing the 150th successful birth since the foundation’s establishment in 2004. To date,TAFF has provided crucial financial support for fertility treatments to 553 couples across Malaysia who have faced challenges in conceiving. The foundation continues its commitment to helping individuals and couples achieve their dream of parenthood.
