Jadyn Keeler Earns Third Summit League Track Performer of the Week Honor
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota senior Jadyn Keeler has been named the Summit League Women’s Track Peak Performer of the Week for the third time this season, league officials announced Tuesday .
Keeler achieved this recognition after breaking her own school record in the women’s invitational 3000-meter run at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University. She recorded a time of 8:50.45, finishing seventh overall and becoming the first athlete in North Dakota collegiate history to complete the event in under nine minutes. Her time currently leads the Summit League and ranks among the top 20 nationally .
This latest honor marks Keeler’s sixth career indoor track and field weekly award .
The North Dakota track and field team will next compete at the UND Tune Up on Friday, February 20 .
