Jaedyn Shaw: I feel free when I play

Changing clubs can be hard at any age, especially early in your career.

Shaw faced uncertainty about her club while also struggling in her career. She wasn’t playing and also people expected,and lost her place on both her club team and the national team.

Moving to Gotham helped a lot, giving her career a fresh start.

“They wanted me to come in and just be myself, not just another player on the team,” she said.
