Jakarta – PT Jasa Marga Tbk will offer a 30 percent discount on toll rates for vehicles traveling on select toll roads during the mudik (homecoming) and return flows for Eid al-Fitr 2026. The discounts are intended to ease traffic congestion and support travelers during the holiday period.

Discount Details

The 30 percent discount will be applied on March 15-16, 2026, for the homecoming flow, and March 26-27, 2026, for the return flow. The discount applies to the following toll roads:

  • Trans Java Toll Road (including Cikampek, MBZ, Palimanan, Kanci, and Batang-Semarang sections)
  • West Java Toll Road (Cipularang and Padaleunyi)
  • Trans Sumatra Toll Road (Belmera and sections in North Sumatra)

Traffic Predictions

Jasa Marga predicts that the peak of homecoming traffic will occur on March 18, 2026, with an estimated 3.5 million vehicles utilizing toll roads. The traffic is expected to be distributed as follows:

  • 28 percent heading towards Merak
  • 50 percent heading east (Trans Java and Cikampek Utama)
  • 20 percent heading towards Bogor

Within the 50 percent traveling east, 57 percent are expected to apply the Trans Java Toll Road, while 42 percent will use the Cileunyi/Cipularang Toll Road. Jasa Marga anticipates congestion around Km 66 due to high traffic volume.

The peak of the return flow is predicted for March 24, 2026, with many travelers returning to Jakarta.
