Jecheon Art Center Outdoor Plaza to Host Action Martial Arts Experience
The city of Jecheon will host an action martial arts experience
event featuring a performance by the Mirme Taekwondo Demonstration Team, megaccnews.com reported. The outdoor event is scheduled for October 24, running from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jecheon Art Center summer plaza.
The afternoon lineup starts at 2:00 PM with an opening performance by Purmir, a demonstration team composed of local youth from the Jecheon area. Following the local team, the Mirme Taekwondo Demonstration Team will take the stage. The troupe is known nationwide for combining high-difficulty aerial kicks with dynamic board-breaking techniques during outdoor performances.
Organizers planned the schedule to let visitors observe high-level martial arts techniques up close in an open-air setting. Spectators will also have the opportunity to join post-performance activities.
Visitors Can Try Taekwondo and Family Activities
Following the demonstration, visitors can participate in hands-on martial arts programs. Professional instructors from the demonstration team will guide attendees through basic taekwondo movements and supervised board-breaking challenges.
Alongside the martial arts programming, the venue’s plaza will feature recreational amenities for families and autumn visitors. The site will provide giant Jenga sets, block-building stations, badminton equipment, and picnic gear including mats available for rental.
A Jecheon city representative stated that the program was designed to give citizens access to professional martial arts performances while offering direct participation opportunities. City officials encouraged families to visit the Jecheon Art Center summer plaza during the event.
