Jordan Ngatikaura filed in a Utah court on Thursday, March 19, 2026, seeking to end the five-year marriage. According to court records, he expressed in a statement to TMZ, “This has not been an simple decision and it comes with a heavy heart. I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. He further added, “I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”
The couple shares a son and a daughter together, in addition to Jordan’s daughter from a previous relationship. Child and custody support arrangements will demand to be determined as the divorce proceedings progress.
Jessi Draper and Jordan Ngatikaura initially married in October 2020 and have experienced periods of separation and reconciliation during their relationship, as documented on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” Entertainment Weekly notes that the divorce filing occurred on the same day ABC canceled “The Bachelorette” featuring Jessi’s castmate, Taylor Frankie Paul.
Prior to the divorce filing, the couple had listed their Salt Lake City home for sale amid speculation of a split, signaling a likely end to their relationship as portrayed on the show. Parade confirms the split is part of ongoing headlines surrounding the series.
The divorce follows Jessi Draper’s disclosure of an emotional affair with Marciano Brunette, as well as discussions of emotional abuse within the relationship. E! News reported that Jessi had been participating in couples therapy with Jordan and had implemented a 90-day separation last year.
