Actor and comedian Jim Carrey married his longtime girlfriend, Min Ah, in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles, TMZ reported on Wednesday. The marriage marks the third for the 64-year-old “Bruce Almighty” star, following previous unions with Melissa Womer and Lauren Holly.
Public Debut at the César Awards
The wedding comes seven months after Carrey and Min Ah made their public debut at the César Awards in Paris on February 26, 2026. At the ceremony, where Carrey accepted an honorary award, Min Ah sat alongside the actor’s daughter, Jane, and grandson, Jackson, according to TMZ.
During his acceptance speech delivered in French, Carrey thanked his family before addressing his partner directly. “Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah,” he said.
Relationship History and Prior Public Sightings
Carrey and Min Ah have kept their relationship largely private. The couple was first photographed together in February 2022 after leaving a charity comedy show hosted by Judd Apatow at Largo in Los Angeles, as reported by People. Outlets such as LatestLY noted that Min Ah is also known as Minzi.
The marriage marks Jim Carrey’s third trip down the aisle. He married his first wife, former actress and Comedy Store waitress Melissa Womer, in 1987. They divorced in 1995 and share a 38-year-old daughter, Jane. In 1996, Carrey married his “Dumb and Dumber” co-star Lauren Holly, though that marriage lasted less than a year before ending in 1997. His past high-profile relationships also include model and actress Jenny McCarthy from 2005 to 2010, and a later relationship with “Kidding” co-star Ginger Gonzaga, whom he split from in 2019.

Response to Appearance Speculation
Following his February appearance in Paris, Carrey drew online speculation regarding his appearance. His representative, Marleah Leslie, pushed back against social media claims that an impersonator or clone had attended the event in his place. “Jim Carrey attended the César Awards, where he accepted his Honorary César Award,” Leslie told Page Six on March 2.
