Joanne McNally Makes History with Second 3Arena Show
Irish comedian Joanne McNally has cemented her place in comedy history, becoming the first Irish comedian to sell out Dublin’s 3Arena and the only one to headline the venue twice. A second date was added to her tour following the overwhelming success of her initial performance.
Tickets for the additional show on Saturday, December 5, 2026, will proceed on sale this Friday, March 13th, at 11 am. Fans can access an MCD Presale from their MyMCD account starting Wednesday, March 11th, at 11 am. VIP Magazine reports ticket prices will range from €42.40 to €72.40.
A Historic Achievement
McNally initially made history as the first Irish female comic to sell out the 3Arena, as reported by RTÉ. This second performance solidifies her status as a leading figure in Irish comedy.
Prolific Live Performances
The announcement comes as McNally concludes a successful run of live shows across Ireland and the UK. Since 2025, she has completed over 30 sold-out performances at the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin, as well as shows in Cork, Kerry, and Mayo. Her international appeal is also growing, with ten sold-out nights at London’s Eventim Apollo. 3Arena.ie highlights her progression from the 3Olympia Theatre to the larger 3Arena venue.
McNally’s Reaction
Speaking about the second 3Arena show, McNally quipped, “Honestly I thought selling out one 3Arena was the sort of thing that happens once in your life, like getting married or successfully keeping a sourdough starter alive. Now we’re doing two nights which feels either incredibly glamorous or deeply irresponsible. Either way I’m thrilled. I promise chaos, confessions and absolutely no personal growth.” 98FM reports this statement.
