Porchlight Music Theatre Presents Follies in Concert at Studebaker Theater April 25–26, 2026 Porchlight Music Theatre returns to Chicago’s Studebaker Theater for a limited engagement of its Porchlight In Concert production of Stephen Sondheim’s Follies, playing Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2026. The staged concert features performances at 2 p.m. And 7:30 p.m. On April 25, and a 2 p.m. Matinee on April 26. Directed by Artistic Director Michael Weber with music direction by Linda Madonia and musical staging by Brenda Didier, the production brings together a cast including John Marshall Jr., Anastasia Arnold, Anthony Rapp, and Angela Ingersoll. The show celebrates Sondheim’s acclaimed score, featuring beloved numbers such as “Broadway Baby,” “I’m Still Here,” and “Losing My Mind,” set against the poignant backdrop of the Weismann Follies company reuniting on the eve of their theater’s demolition. Follies, with book by James Goldman, won seven Tony Awards including Best Score and is widely regarded as one of Sondheim’s masterpieces. The Porchlight In Concert series debuted in 2024 with sold-out performances of Sunday in the Park with George and continues this season with Follies as its second offering.
