Joshua Chuquimia Crampton Announces New Album Receiving and Bay Area Performance

Joshua Chuquimia crampton will release his new LP,Receiving,on November 8th,2024. The album follows his 2024 solo release, Star by Star, and the surprise 2025 debut album with Chuquimamani-Condori, Los Tuthanaka, which topped Pitchfork’s “The 50 Best Albums of 2025” list.

Chuquimia Crampton will celebrate the release of Receiving with a performance at the Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirits (BAAITS) and Sacramento Red Road Gathering.The event will include a screening of Amaru’s Tongue: Daughter-a film made with his sibling and Los Thuthanaka bandmate Chuquimamani-Condori-a live performance by Chuquimia Crampton, and an intertribal healing circle. The duo performed songs from Los Tuthanaka at Pitchfork’s 2025 holiday party.
