The 45-year-old content creator, known for his YouTube channel “JP Performance,” confirmed a physical altercation with his estranged wife in a video statement released on August 28, 2026. Local law enforcement registered a criminal complaint against a 45-year-old Dortmund resident on suspicion of intentional simple battery and property damage following the July 26 incident.
Police Investigation and Dortmund Residence Incident
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Dortmund police responded to an incident at a residential property owned by Kraemer on July 26, 2026. Kraemer stated in his August 28 video that police had visited the shared residence on multiple occasions due to ongoing disputes. He also noted that a court date had previously established a mutual no-contact order between the parties.
Kraemer’s Video Statement and Marriage Split
In his August 28 broadcast, Kraemer publicly addressed the breakdown of his marriage, announcing that he and his wife Julia are separating and getting a divorce. Addressing the July 26 altercation, Kraemer admitted to physical actions during the argument, stating that he ripped a necklace from his wife’s neck and used an open hand during the physical exchange. “That was not okay of me,” Kraemer said in the video, while maintaining that physical actions occurred on both sides and that he also sustained blows. Kraemer stated that he admitted his behavior to the police, and he remains entitled to the presumption of innocence under German law. He added that he did not intend to publicly disparage his estranged wife.

Kraemer raised questions regarding the future of his automotive brand, JP Performance, at the conclusion of his video statement. He indicated that if his viewing audience no longer supports him following these events, he would shut down the company. “If you say yes, then yes. If you say no, then no,” Kraemer stated, placing the business decision directly with his followers.
