Federal Judge Blocks Trump Administration’s Changes to CDC Childhood Immunization Schedule
A federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s recent overhaul of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) childhood immunization schedule. The ruling also temporarily halts 13 appointments to the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) made by Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Between June 11, 2025, and January 13, 2026, and invalidates any votes taken by those members during that period.

U.S. District Judge Brian E.
