German digital creator Julia Willecke, widely known online as Julia Beautx, has announced an indefinite break from her content creation career to focus on her health. According to reports from 20min.ch and bild.de, the 27-year-old social media star told her millions of followers on Instagram that she is pressing pause on her weekly podcast and other professional commitments after nearly 14 years in the public eye.
Podcast Hiatus and Career Pause
Willecke launched her online career at age 14 on YouTube, eventually expanding into acting, television appearances such as the dance competition show Let’s Dance, and brand partnerships. For the past four years, she has co-hosted the weekly podcast Die Nervigen alongside her podcast partner Joey’s Jungle, as reported by bild.de. In her Instagram statement, Willecke noted that she spent a long time grappling with the decision before taking action. “I’ve wrestled with it for a long time, but now I have to concentrate on my health and put this project as well as all my other projects on the back burner for an indefinite period with a heavy heart,” Willecke wrote on Instagram, according to 20min.ch. She added that she will “pull out of everything for now.”
Upcoming Projects and October Tour
Despite the sudden retreat from daily content creation, fans will still see Willecke in a few scheduled projects before her departure takes full effect. According to 20min.ch, her planned tour in October will proceed as scheduled, giving her an opportunity to celebrate properly with her community one last time. Additionally, her upcoming ZDF television series, Downgrade, is still slated to release later this year. Willecke pointed to the series launch as her final scheduled appearance before stepping away from the public eye. “End of the year, my series Downgrade is finally coming out on ZDF—so at the latest, we’ll see each other one more time there,” Willecke wrote, as reported by bild.de.
Uncertain Timeline for Return
Willecke has not provided a timeline for her eventual return to the digital landscape. Both 20min.ch and bild.de confirmed that the creator stated she does not currently know when or in what form she will come back, though she promised to notify her community first when she is ready to share updates.
