Julian Draxler Welcomes Second Daughter
German professional footballer Julian Draxler and his wife, Sethanie Draxler Taing, have welcomed their second child, a daughter. The couple announced the birth on Instagram, sharing photos of their newborn.
A Surprise Arrival
The arrival of Draxler’s daughter was a surprise to the public, as the pregnancy had been kept private. The couple shared the news with a touching message: “36 weeks full of love. And two weeks have already passed with you. Welcome to the world, little girl.”
Growing Family
The couple’s family now includes four members, with a son born in September 2022 likewise expressing excitement over his recent sister. Photos posted on Instagram show the older brother carefully pushing a stroller with the baby inside.

Julian Draxler, a 2014 FIFA World Cup winner with the German national team, currently plays for Al-Ahli SC in the Saudi Arabian league, having previously played for Schalke 04, VfL Wolfsburg, Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica Lisbon.

Born on September 20, 1993, in Gladbeck, Germany, Draxler is an attacking midfielder or winger. He began his professional career with Schalke 04 in 2011, making his Bundesliga debut at age 17 and scoring the winning goal in the 2011 DFB-Pokal final. He has represented Germany at various youth levels and the senior national team, earning over 50 caps since 2012. He was also awarded the Golden Ball as the best player of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
