Karin Fisslthaler: Exploring Body, Relationships, and Gender Through Art
Austrian artist Karin Fisslthaler, working across fine art, experimental film, video, and music (as Cherry Sunkist), is currently featured in the group exhibition “Bringing it all back home” at CCA Andratx in Mallorca, Spain, running from April 2nd to June 17th, 2026. Her work delves into the complexities of media representations of the body, human relationships, and gender constructions.

- “Bringing it all back home”: A group show curated by Francesco Giaveri, opening April 1st, 2026, at CCA Andratx, Kunsthalle 1, Mallorca (ESP).
- “NOT NICE GIRLS! The Female View in Photographies from the SpallArt Collection”: A group show running from February 14th to April 12th, 2026, at Galerie im Alten Rathaus, Prien am Chiemsee (DE).

- “SYAA – Sisterhood of Young Animation Auteurs”: Fisslthaler will participate as a mentor, with a screening and Q&A in collaboration with Animest & Tricky Women, from March 12th to 14th, 2026, in Bucharest (RO).
Featured Works
At CCA Andratx, Fisslthaler is exhibiting her “Times” series and the video work “*WOMEN (Nico)*”. The “Bringing it all back home” exhibition is designed to encourage active engagement, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the presented works, texts, images, and resonances.
Musical Pursuits: Cherry Sunkist
