Police in Norway are investigating the deaths of two individuals on the island of Karmøy as potential murders. The incidents occurred in the municipality of Karmøy, with one person found deceased in a home around 9:30 AM local time, and another discovered in a separate residence shortly before 1:00 PM following a search of the area.

Recent Homicide in Åkrehamn

In June 2024, a man in his 20s was killed in Åkrehamn on Karmøy following a violent incident. A man of the same age was arrested and charged with murder. The victim was a foreign national residing in Åkrehamn. A video of the incident circulated on Snapchat, and police urged the public not to share it further. Bergens Tidende reported that the two men did not appear to have a prior connection.
