From ‘The Pitt’ to Hulu
Katherine LaNasa is coming off significant critical success with her role as charge nurse Dana Evans on the HBO Max medical drama The Pitt. Her performance in the first season earned her an Emmy win for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. While she is joining the cast of Count My Lies, fans of The Pitt can expect her to recur on that project as well. The second season of the medical drama is scheduled to conclude on April 16.
Production and Creative Leadership
The limited series is steered by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, former executive producers and co-showrunners of This Is Us. The duo serves as showrunners and executive producers via The Walk-Up Company. The project is based on the debut novel by Sophie Stava, who likewise serves as a producer on the series.
In addition to their acting roles, Shailene Woodley and Lindsay Lohan are serving as executive producers. Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company also holds an executive producer credit. The series is produced by 20th Television, part of Disney TV Studios.

Production is actively underway, with Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley spotted filming scenes together in Brooklyn, New York, on April 6, 2026. While the cast and creative team are locked in, Hulu has not yet announced an official release date for the series.
