Kehlani Announces Self-Titled Album, Set for April 24th Release
Kehlani has officially announced the release of their highly anticipated new studio album, Kehlani, set to arrive on April 24th via Atlantic Records. The announcement coincides with the artist’s 31st birthday, marking a significant moment in their career.
In an Instagram post, Kehlani subtly referenced the project as their fifth studio album ending the message with “k5.” A follow-up post announced Alternate Cover Exclusives available until 12 pm ET on Friday, March 20th via kehlani.com, offering fans a limited-time opportunity to engage with the rollout.
The upcoming album follows Kehlani’s 2024 release, Crash, which included the Grammy-nominated single “After Hours.” Crash garnered positive reviews, earning a 73/100 on Metacritic.
Demand for new music from Kehlani has been fueled by the 2025 single “Folded,” produced by D’Mile. The song earned Kehlani a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance and reached the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart. “Folded” also sparked the viral “Folded Challenge,” with renditions from artists including Brandy, Toni Braxton, Mario, JoJo, Josh Levi, and Jai’Len Josey.
