Kehlani Announces Fifth Studio Album, ‘Come Down,’ and Receives Billboard Women in Music Impact Award

R&B singer-songwriter Kehlani is set to release their fifth studio album, Come Down, on April 24. The announcement follows a successful 2025 for the artist, highlighted by their Grammy wins and chart-topping single, “Folded.”

‘Come Down’ Promises Raw and Reflective Sound

The upcoming album is described as presenting Kehlani “fully in their element — raw, reflective and unapologetically themselves.” Come Down is the follow-up to their 2024 release, Crash.

“Folded” Achieves Chart Success and Grammy Recognition

Kehlani’s 2025 single, “Folded,” proved to be a breakthrough hit, earning them their first two Grammy Awards at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in February. They won Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for the track. Kehlani is a seven-time Grammy nominee.

“Folded” peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Kehlani’s first top 10 hit on the chart. The song also topped three other Billboard charts: Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, and Rhythmic Airplay. A “Folded Homage Pack” featuring remixes by artists including Toni Braxton, Brandy, JoJo, Mario, Ne-Yo, and Tank was also released. As of March 2026, “Folded” has amassed over 800 million global streams and reached No. 22 on Billboard’s Global 200.

Additional Achievements and Upcoming Honors

Kehlani also released the single “Out the Window” in 2025, which reached the top 10 of the Rhythmic Airplay and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.

On April 29, Kehlani will be presented with the Impact Award at the Billboard Women in Music 2026 event, where they will also perform.
