Ricky Sosa and Lashka Capture KHAO Wrestling Championship in Dramatic Tournament

This Sunday, March 1, 2026, KHAO Wrestling crowned its first-ever champion during the Volume 1 show, marking a significant milestone for the promotion as it celebrated its first anniversary.

Tournament Overview

The event featured an eight-participant single-elimination tournament, comprised of first-round matches, two semi-finals, and a final main event. Mecca secured the final tournament spot by winning an Elimination Rush Match the previous day at La Soirée des César.

First Round Results

  • Kuro defeated El Maestro by pinfall with his Hype Maker.
  • Thiago Montero defeated Cory Zero by pinfall with a Brainbuster. Thiago Montero then attacked Cory Zero after the match, powerbombing her from the top of the arena’s balcony. Agathe Ariès distracted Cory Zero during the match.
  • Mecca defeated TLB by submission with a Sleeper hold.
  • Ricky Sosa defeated Leedz Lewis by pinfall with a Blue Thunderbomb.

Semi-Finals

  • Thiago Montero defeated Kuro by pinfall with a Brainbuster, again aided by distractions from Agathe Ariès and a low blow.
  • Ricky Sosa defeated Mecca by pinfall with a Blue Thunderbomb. Mecca attacked Sosa with a piledriver following the match.

Final: Ricky Sosa vs. Thiago Montero

Ricky Sosa defeated Thiago Montero by pinfall with a bridge pin, becoming the inaugural KHAO Wrestling Champion.

Championship Change: Lashka Claims the Title

Ricky Sosa’s reign was short-lived. Immediately following the final match, KHAO’s general manager, César, joined Sosa in the ring. Sosa was then attacked by two hooded wrestlers – later identified as Beef T and Hellmer – while Lashka entered the arena. César ordered an immediate title match.

Lashka defeated Ricky Sosa by pinfall with a piledriver in a matter of seconds, claiming the KHAO Championship. Beef T and Hellmer were revealed to be accomplices to Lashka and César in the attack.

The victory marks Lashka as the second champion in KHAO Wrestling history.
