Kharkiv, Ukraine – February 5, 2026 – Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine’s national railway company, has issued a warning regarding disruptions to train services in teh Kharkiv region. These disruptions are attributed to voltage fluctuations within the contact network, impacting both train schedules and routes.
Currently, the following trains are experiencing delays:
- Train No. 6572 Poltava-Yuzhnaya – Berestin: Departed 30 minutes behind schedule.
- train No. 6571 Berestin – Poltava-Yuzhnaya: Operating with a delay of 1 hour and 15 minutes, originating from Stepnoye station.
Moreover, Train No. 6303 Kharkiv-Passenger – Ogultsy will operate on a modified route, traveling through Kharkiv-Pasazhirsky – Zalyutino – Skvortsovo – Lyubotin.
Ukrzaliznytsia is actively monitoring the situation and advises passengers traveling in the affected region to closely follow announcements at stations and regularly check for schedule updates. This is particularly crucial given recent reports of disruptions to Kharkiv’s metro system following shelling.
