Kyiv Faces Critical Period as Winter Storms and Energy Shortages Intensify

Kyiv residents are bracing for a challenging period as severe winter weather coincides with ongoing disruptions to the city’s energy infrastructure, Mayor Vitali klitschko warned on February 7, 2026.
