Kimbap Heaven Simulator: A Taste of Korean Diner Life on PC and Mac

Seoul, South Korea – February 14, 2026 – Joyful Jo Inc. Is offering players a hands-on experience of Korea’s popular street food, kimbap (gimbap), with the upcoming release of Kimbap Heaven Simulator. The game will be showcased at Steam Next Fest from February 23rd to March 2nd, 2026, followed by a public Steam demo on March 23, 2026 and a planned full launch on PC and Mac via Steam in Q2 2026.

From Prep to Plate: A Realistic Diner Simulation

Kimbap Heaven Simulator immerses players in the daily operations of a Korean casual diner. Gameplay encompasses the entire process, from purchasing ingredients and preparing components to assembling dishes, serving customers, and expanding the business. The developers at Joyful Jo Inc. Have focused on creating a tactile and engaging cooking experience, with core actions like cooking rice, stir-frying vegetables, rolling and slicing kimbap, and serving orders designed to feel direct and responsive.

Progression and Expansion

As players progress, they can unlock upgrades to enhance their diner. The demo version will include features such as a delivery request phone and a self-serve side-dish bar. The full release is planned to expand the menu beyond kimbap to include a wider variety of Korean dishes, alongside new facilities and shop upgrades. A recipe appendix with practical kimbap tips is similarly planned as an optional resource for players who want to recreate the dishes in their own kitchens.

Co-op Cooking and Authentic Atmosphere

The game supports both single-player and online co-op for up to four players, allowing for collaborative kitchen and dining room management. Joyful Jo Inc. Aims to recreate a realistically recreated Korean street and diner atmosphere, offering players a taste of Korean culture whether they’ve visited the country or not.
