Broadcaster Satire Celebrates Weight Loss with Baggy Hanbok
South Korean broadcaster Satire recently showcased the results of his 27kg weight loss, humorously noting that his traditional Korean clothing, a hanbok, now hangs loosely. The observation was made during a Lunar Modern Year mukbang reveal posted on the YouTube channel “Pungja Terrevi” on February 15th, 2026.
Lunar New Year Traditions and Satire’s Mukbang
Satire explained that his family does not observe ancestral rites and, instead of traditional family gatherings, he chose to share the Lunar New Year spirit by preparing traditional foods with his online audience. He donned a hanbok, a traditional Korean dress, to enhance the festive atmosphere.
A Noticeable Change in Fit
While wearing the hanbok, Satire remarked on the significant change in his physique. He expressed surprise at how much weight he had lost, stating he didn’t know how he had previously fit into the garment, describing it as feeling like a “blanket.” He also noted the jeogori (the jacket portion of the hanbok) had shifted half a turn due to the weight loss, joking that the clothes might fall off, but reassuring viewers he was wearing layers underneath.
