KT Telecop and Playtag Partner for AI Video Analytics in Nurseries and Pet Facilities
KT Telecop signed a strategic business agreement with AI behavior analysis firm Playtag on October 22 to jointly develop new services utilizing AI video analytics technology, boannews.com reported. The partnership combines KT Telecop’s video security service infrastructure with Playtag’s AI behavior analysis technology to commercialize practical applications for customers.
Commercializing Storyline for Nursery Daily Reports
The initial collaboration focuses on childcare facilities. The two companies plan to commercialize a service linking KT Telecop’s Gigayeyes video security service with Playtag’s nursery AI behavior analysis service called Storyline. Storyline uses artificial intelligence to analyze nursery CCTV footage, tracking toddlers’ daily routines, activity levels, peer relationships, and play preferences into structured behavior analysis reports.
Under the agreement, KT Telecop supplies the video security hardware, system integration, and nationwide sales infrastructure covering customer acquisition, installation, and after-sales service. Playtag handles AI technology advancement, app and platform operations, and the development of customer-specific AI analysis functions.
Expanding AI Care Services to Pet Facilities
Beyond nurseries, both companies are reviewing AI behavior analysis and care services tailored for pet care facilities. This system identifies individual animals within video footage, analyzes their activity levels, rest periods, and interactions with other pets, and delivers easily readable content to pet owners. The firms are currently testing technical feasibility and plan to refine the service through additional verification in real-world environments.
This cooperation marks the beginning of our plan to continuously roll out AI safety and care services that customers can experience directly in their daily lives, expanding the scope of our video security infrastructure from traditional security into AI-driven safety and care domains,
