MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Monday they have re-signed forward Kyle Anderson, bringing back a key contributor from their 2024 Western Conference Finals run. The move comes after Anderson was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies.

Anderson’s Timberwolves Return

Anderson, 32, played two seasons with the Timberwolves, becoming a fan favorite known for his toughness, leadership, and unique, deliberate offensive style – earning him the nickname “Slo Mo.” He started 56 games over those two years, averaging a career-high 25.3 minutes per game according to the Associated Press.

Recent Transactions and NBA Career

Prior to returning to Minnesota, Anderson experienced a flurry of transactions. After signing with the Golden State Warriors in free agency, he was traded three times, ultimately landing with the Grizzlies via the Utah Jazz as reported by the Associated Press.
