Kyle Cooke Addresses Claims He Slept at a Fan’s Apartment

Kyle Cooke is setting the record straight.

Following the release of a teaser for season 10 of Bravo’s Summer House, Kyle addressed his wife Amanda Batuala’s claims that he fell asleep at a fan’s apartment and “came home at like, 6:30 in the morning” in a statement shared exclusively with PEOPLE.

“There’s no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment,” Cooke, 43, says. “I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party.”

“I don’t use anything to keep myself wired, so I think I ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m.,” he continues. “Do I regret the situation? Absolutely. But that’s the truth and full extent of what happened.”

Season 10 of Summer House premieres Feb. 3, and will be available to stream on Peacock the following day.
